My top three priorities for Borough of Avalon Councilmember are as follows:

1. Maintaining Fiscal Responsibility: Ensuring the Borough continues to operate efficiently without increasing taxes, as has been the practice for the past 10 years.

2. Supporting Strategic Growth: Expanding Avalon’s reach by offering services to neighboring communities, fostering regional collaboration and strengthening our local presence. Services such as police and public works.

3. Pursuing Grant Opportunities: Actively seeking and securing grant funding to help offset operating costs and reduce the financial burden on residents.
With an operating budget of approximately $3.5 million, there is no room for discretionary or unnecessary spending. Every decision must be made with the Borough’s best interests in mind. As the current Chair of the Finance Committee, I approach each financial matter with a focus on necessity, value, and long-term impact—carefully weighing needs versus wants.

As a Councilmember, I’m not only a decision-maker but also a fellow resident. My family and I live in this community and are directly impacted by the same policies and financial decisions as every other household.
