I am a hardworking listener who is deeply committed to serving constituents. With over 30 years of experience as a teacher, I have developed strong collaborative skills and know how to work effectively with diverse groups to accomplish complex, long-term goals.

It is critical that people feel that they can talk to their representatives about the issues that concern them. Every level of government is responsible to the voters and as an elected official I make myself available to my constituents by engaging directly with residents, listening to their concerns, and answering their questions. I distribute a regular e-newsletter highlighting items on the agenda for each commissioner meeting, providing updates on Township resident events and major township projects. I also hold constituent meetings once a year with the commissioners of Ward 7 and 8 where various township officials talk about the latest initiatives.

As the commissioner for Ward 2, I am committed to ensuring that every decision I make and every vote I cast improves our township—strengthening the services and amenities that make it a safe, vibrant, and welcoming place to live, work, and play.

My top three priorities are:

1. Listening to the concerns of Ward 2 residents and responding promptly and effectively.

2. Supporting smart economic development that enables the Township to maintain excellent services while minimizing the burden on taxpayers.

3. Making thoughtful decisions at every commissioner meeting that protects and nurtures our Township for future generations.
