In 2025, New Jersey is being impacted by two major challenges: rising energy costs and housing prices. I propose making major investments in renewable energy and nuclear technology to stabilize our grid, reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, and lower household utility bills over time. When it comes to housing, too many families are being priced out of the communities they love. I’ll advocate to expand our housing supply, streamline the permitting process to cut unnecessary delays, and incentivize the construction of affordable homes. I’ll also champion stronger assistance programs to help first-time homebuyers achieve the dream of ownership.
As a candidate committed to strengthening our democracy, I believe it's time we bring fairness to New Jersey’s political system. I support standardizing the county endorsement process so it’s the same in every county. Voters and candidates alike deserve a process they can trust and clearly understand - not one that changes depending on where you live. I also support abolishing the county line in general elections and replacing it with a uniform block ballot. The current system unfairly advantages party-backed candidates and discourages healthy competition. By implementing these reforms, we’ll ensure that first-time and grassroots candidates have a real chance to serve their communities.
I plan to partner with NJ Transit to expand bus service, which many residents in District 20 depend on every single day. I’ll also fight for investments in key economic hubs like Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal and Newark Liberty International Airport. Lastly, I plan to collaborate with the New Jersey Economic Development Authority and promote policies that encourage businesses to grow and stay in our state. With smart investments and strong partnerships, we can continue to bolster New Jersey’s economic growth.
I will fight to make school funding more stable and transparent, so districts can plan effectively and parents know where their tax dollars are going. I support a fair funding formula that truly reflects student need, especially in under-resourced communities. I’ll also ensure that all districts pay their fair share — because fairness means shared responsibility, not shifting burdens onto already struggling communities. If elected, I plan to prioritize keeping New Jersey among the top-ranked stats in the nation for public education.
I support respecting the sanctuary status of our state and will fight to prevent ICE raids that tear families apart and create fear in our communities. I’ll continue to oppose the use of state facilities, like the defunct Union County jail, for immigration detention. Our state resources should not be used to criminalize people simply for seeking opportunity. That’s why I will always work to ensure New Jersey remains a welcoming place for people from around the world who want to contribute and build a life here.
