Village of Williams Bay Referendum
Question: Under state law, the increase in the levy of the Village of Williams Bay for the tax to be imposed for the next fiscal year, 2026, is limited to 0.602%, which results in a levy of $3,966,269. Shall the Village of Williams Bay be allowed to exceed this limit and increase the levy foer the next fiscal year, 2026, for the purpose of providing increased resources for the Police Depatment to fund additional officers and additional resources to support those officers, by a total of 10.085% which results in a levy of $4,366,249, and on an ongoing basis, cindluies the increase of $399,980 for each fiscal year going forward?
