Having had the honor of serving on Fletcher Town Council since January 2025, I bring firsthand experience and an understanding of the responsibilities that come with serving. As a wife, mother, and native of this community, I have a personal connection to Fletcher and a genuine commitment to protecting what makes our town special. My time on Council has reinforced the importance of listening to residents, being accountable, and making thoughtful decisions that put our community first. I understand the responsibility of managing taxpayer dollars, prioritizing public safety, protecting property rights, and planning for responsible growth. I believe in hard work and making the best decisions with future generations in mind.
My top three priorities are fiscal responsibility, public safety, and responsible growth. I believe in treating every tax dollar carefully, prioritizing essential services, and planning for the future. I will continue supporting our first responders and ensuring they have the resources needed to protect our community. As Fletcher grows, we must make thoughtful decisions about development, traffic, and infrastructure while protecting property rights and preserving the character of our neighborhoods. Growth should strengthen our community without placing unnecessary burdens on the families and taxpayers who already call Fletcher home. My goal is to protect what makes Fletcher special while planning responsibly for future generations.
I will address fiscal responsibility through careful budgeting, thoughtful planning, and looking at both the immediate and long-term costs of projects. I believe we must prioritize essential services and community needs while avoiding unnecessary spending and debt. Major projects should be evaluated for their long-term financial impact and should not place significant burdens on taxpayers or require tax increases, additional debt, or redirecting funds from other community priorities. We need to focus on building and expanding parks and greenways on Town owned properties in ways that benefit all residents. My goal is to make sound financial decisions that protect taxpayers and Fletcher's future.
Serving Fletcher has been a true honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the community I call home. As a wife, mother, native of Fletcher, and your current Councilwoman, I understand that leadership is about people, not titles or positions. It’s about listening, being accessible, and making responsible decisions that protect our families, homes, businesses, and future generations. I believe in serving the people, not the politics, and treating every issue and topic with care. My commitment is to preserve what makes Fletcher special while planning responsibly for its future. I will continue to lead with conservative values, common sense and a genuine heart for this community while working closely with current council. Fletcher is home, and serving its people will always mean more to me than holding a title.
Position/philosophy statement I want to see the interests of Fletcher's neighborhoods better represented at Town Hall. I hope for a future where all of our communities are connected and can benefit from the great things happening in Fletcher in the years to come.

I bring more than 20 years of experience living in Fletcher and a proven record of advocating for our neighborhoods. I served five years on the Fletcher Youth Baseball & Softball Board, including four years as Treasurer, and currently serve on the Fletcher ABC Board. My professional experience spans manufacturing, industrial development, and disaster recovery, where I have managed projects, analyzed complex information, worked with regulations, and solved problems. These experiences have prepared me to listen, ask the right questions, understand the facts, and make thoughtful decisions for Fletcher.
Connecting Fletcher’s neighborhoods: Expanding sidewalks and trails so our neighborhoods are connected to our parks, library, town center, and local businesses.

Fair representation: Fixing our outdated and disproportionate voting districts so every Fletcher neighborhood has fair representation at Town Hall.

Responsive leadership: Being available to the public and making sure every neighbor knows they have an advocate they can call on who will listen, work hard, and represent their interests and concerns.
Many of Fletcher’s main thoroughfares are owned and maintained by NC DOT, so the Town cannot simply add sidewalks or trails along them on its own. We need Town Council members who will actively advocate for these improvements with NC DOT, pursue available funding and partnerships, and say yes when opportunities arise. I will work to connect our neighborhoods to our parks, library, town center, and local businesses that make Fletcher a great place to live.
