I’m Preston Blakely, and it has been the honor of my life to serve as your mayor here in Fletcher. Over the past five years, we’ve faced challenges and opportunities together, from rebuilding after Hurricane Helene to strengthening our parks, supporting small businesses, and making Fletcher a place where families can thrive.

When I first ran for office, I promised to lead with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to working families. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, but I know there’s more to do. Fletcher is growing, and we must continue to invest in safe neighborhoods, resilient infrastructure, and opportunities that benefit everyone in our community.

That’s why I’m running for reelection.
Greenway Expansion connection, recreation, and strengthening our sense of community. We have already received significant grants to expand the greenway. However, there is much more work to be done. With the secured funding we must plan and build. Therefore every resident can enjoy!

Fletcher Town Center We have lacked a downtown space that reflects our community for too long. We have made incredible progress in improving downtown Fletcher. Finishing this project will strengthen our town and invest in the future.

Hurricane Helene left a lasting mark on Fletcher and the rest of WNC. Families were displaced, businesses hurt, and infrastructure tested. Relief and recovery reamin top priorities.
