What do you see as the role of the Regional Board of School Trustees?

What is your assessment of the effectiveness of the Board over the past 6 years? What are the successes and what can be improved?

As a person who has built a career in public safety, I have chosen to provide my level of expertise and passion in education and safety to our County Board of Schools. School safety, family values, and high education standards are paramount in quality education. Providing guidance and working with our educators to give them all opportunities and tools to provide high, quality educator the future generations are the goals I will bring to this County Board of Schools.
Besides the duties that are outlined statutorily and by local ordinances, anyone in this role should be willing and able to provide any “above and beyond” assistance and guidance to local school districts and boards.
The Board has done a decent job. Now is the time for fresh ideas and new people to do the work even better and move our education system forward.
