Qualifications/Experience Tyler has served on Delran Township Council for two terms, including as Council President. Tyler is an active member of the Delran Recreation Advisory Committee, planning free events for the community. Tyler was influential in developing and facilitating the Delran Winter Festival and Delran Night Out, which brought the first fireworks show to Delran after a nearly 20-year hiatus. During his leadership, Tyler balanced a budget with no municipal tax increases for 5 consecutive years, all while increasing services. Tyler also currently serves as a Board of Education Member on the joint Board of the Burlington County Special Services School District & Burlington County Institute of Technology.
Involvement in Community Tyler was the founding Vice-President of the Delran Education Foundation, a nonprofit raising money for educational initiatives. He also supports first responders with the Delran Night Out.
My top priority will be combining a modern approach to governing with an emphasis on public safety. During my time on Delran Council, we hired more police officers in thirteen months than the previous administration hired in thirteen years. I want to build on the work the current Commissioners have done in terms of improving the infrastructure of our emergency services, and continue to put public safety at the forefront of everything we do. On top of that, of course, I want to ensure that we are keeping county taxes the lowest in the state and maintaining our top credit rating.
As someone who's served on Delran Council since I was twenty years old, I know what it takes to do the hard work of bringing people together while also having a forward looking approach. I helped to modernize our government by live-streaming our Council meetings and upgrading technology in chambers. Moreover, I put it in the work to help organize the Delran Night Out and Delran Winter Festival to bring the community together and create a sense of cooperation and engagement. Not only do I have the vision for government that's more responsive to the community, I have the experience to back it up.

She joined Theta Pi Omega Chapter in 2013 and has served on several committees. Additionally, she serves on multiple boards and volunteers with several organizations, including the South Jersey Food Bank and Camden YMCA.
My top priority will be prioritizing fiscal responsibility and financial stewardship. Under my leadership, I've kept our county taxes the lowest in the entire state while still investing in important improvements to our EMS, fire, and police services. We have a AA1 credit rating from Moody's thanks to our team's ability to budget, control costs, and manage our finances intelligently. With another term as Commissioner, I intend to carry on this work and continue to provide high quality services for our residents without breaking the bank.
Since I became a Commissioner in 2019, I have put time and energy into understanding the full scope of the job and have instituted a number of substantive improvements. We launched grants to veteran owned small businesses, and have enhanced our public safety infrastructure. Additionally, we have worked to addressing housing affordability and food insecurity with tools like our housing hub and continuing to support food pantries across the county. We've also funded various mental health services to support residents struggling with addiction. All of these services are reflective of the high quality of life we try to provide residents with - and we still have the lowest county taxes in the state of New Jersey.
