I've been involved in government for the last over 20 years on different boards. I decided to run for Village Board after seeing the tax leavy increase 41%, lack of transparency, and civility from the Mayor and some of the Board Members.
I served on the Town of Monroe Planning Board for 17 years, was a councilmen for the Town of Woodbury and ran our family farm which was a fixture in the town of Woodbury for over 100 years. As a councilman I oversaw the budget which was kept at the State cap of 2% except the year we built a new community pool. I also directed the Town to invest its cash to a guaranteed fund which pays over 5%. This helped keep taxes down.
The single most important issue is the Village finances. That includes, but is not limited to, the large tax increases over the last three years, failing to bond very large purchases, making budget modifications totaling $272,556 at the end of the year and failing to invest the Village cash at the highest rate of return resulting in a significant loss of revenue.

I decided to run for Village Trustee because I have a genuine passion for fostering community engagement and addressing the diverse needs of our residents. My experience working closely with local business owners, residents, and community organizations has shown me that when we collaborate as a village, we can achieve remarkable progress. I am committed to representing the interests of all community members, ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous development in every decision I make.
My qualifications are rooted in my professional and civic experiences. With a strong background in the advertising industry, a results-driven field, I have successfully managed multi-million-dollar budgets and tight timelines, honing my ability to meet demanding goals. This experience has provided me with the skills to address complex challenges and implement practical solutions.
Additionally, I'm involved in local organizations that play a role in our village. I served on the Woodbury Zoning Board and was the Brigadoon HOA president for 16 years. I'm a member of the Knights of Columbus, the WCA, and the Woodbury Lions Club. These roles gave me the opportunity to work alongside fellow citizens, building a stronger, cohesive community.
For me, the most pressing issue is to protect and preserve Woodbury. I am committed to supporting the existing building and water moratoriums, ensuring that our village grows in a sustainable manner. It is crucial that we plan for the future by strengthening our infrastructure so that future residents can enjoy the same high quality of life that we do today. I will continue to advocate for land preservation, limiting overdevelopment, and safeguarding our natural environment to protect the beauty, nature, and wildlife that make Woodbury so special.

I have served as a Village of Woodbury Trustee since July of 2022. I am passionate about being involved in shaping the future of our community. I am running for re-election so I can continue to preserve and protect Woodbury not only for our current residents, but for our future generations.
I worked as an accountant/manager for over 15 years. In addition, I have utilized my accounting background for the last 10+ years as a PTA board member as well as President of two 501c3's for the MW school district. I am analytical & make the time to research and fully comprehend the complex issues the Village of Woodbury faces. Working & listening to our residents as a Village Trustee has allowed me to gain insight into the needs of our community. I rely on facts to make decisions and I pride myself in my ability to keep an open mind and treat all residents with the respect they deserve.
Woodbury residents have been very clear: the top priority is to preserve & protect Woodbury's natural resources, wildlife, & scenic beauty; not only for our current residents, but for generations to come. During my tenure as Village Trustee, I have advocated for smart development that is in line with our infrastructure & our resources by consistently supporting the water moratorium and collaborating with our Mayor & Water Superintendent to bring new water sources online. In addition, I have supported routine maintenance for our water infrastructure to ensure every resident has access to a safe & clean water supply. Finally, I will continue to support land preservation & forever green initiatives to ensure that we protect our wildlife.
I grew up in Woodbury the oldest of 5 boys. I was 16 when I learned how much a community means. My father had died suddenly and everyone in Woodbury-neighbors, the schools, the community were there for my family. It is why I stayed in Woodbury learned a trade, and started and ran my car repair business in Central Valley for 45 years. I care for and am indebted to Woodbury and want to give back.
Current: President of the Woodbury Community Association, Orange County Office of the Aging volunteer, Former: Chair of Woodbury Parks & Recreation, Town of Woodbury Councilman, Woodbury Pond Lifeguard, Boyscout Troop 149 Committee Member
Tax increases in the Village have gone unchecked. The middle class is suffering from increased property taxes, inflation, interest rates and insurance premiums. My personal village tax has increased 23% in 3 years.
