What a Yes and No vote means.
Proposal changes the terms of office for commissioners to four years. Those commissioners elected to a two-year term in 2023 will serve a three-year term: their terms will end in 2026. In the future, elections will be held only in even-numbered years. This cost-savings measure aligns Lady Lake elections with those of Lake County.
Commissioners will continue to be elected to two-year terms. Elections will be held every year.
