Sales Tax for Improvements to River Oaks Golf CourseShall the City of Cottage Grove be authorized to impose a sales and use tax of one-half of one percent (0.50%) to improve the River Oaks Golf Course and Event Center which will expire either when up to $6,000,000 plus an amount equal to debt service and the costs of the issuance of any bonds is raised, or after 25 years, whichever comes first? By voting on this question, you are voting to increase the sales tax in Cottage Grove to pay for the construction of improvements, which may include premier pickleball courts, indoor multi-sports simulators, a winter mountain biking course, upgrades to the building and patio, and a nine-hole putting green course. If approved by voters at this election, the total sales and use tax imposed to fund this project and any other project will not exceed one-half of one percent (0.50%), regardless of the number of projects authorized.
