23. COVENTRY TOWNSHIP - Proposed Tax Levy (Replacement and Decrease) - A replacement of a portion of an existing levy, being a reduction of 0.5 mill to constitute a tax for the benefit of Coventry Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefor, or sources of water supply and materials therefor, or the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent, part-time, or volunteer firefighters, including the payment of the firefighters’ employer’s contribution required under section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or to purchase ambulance equipment, or to provide ambulance, paramedic, or other emergency medical services operated by the fire department that the county fiscal officer estimates will collect $2,409,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 6.25 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $220 for each $100,000 of the county fiscal officer’s appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first due in calendar year 2026.The financial impact of measures varies depending on type of levy.
