Prior, I Served 8 years on the Big lake School board as a board member, Clerk and Chair. I was on the fire relief board and have served on the Big Lake PTO and on the Big Lake Chamber . I’m running to continue to serve the people of the Township. Our board does a good job and work well together, I want to continue to challenge each other do to even better for the TWP
I can help the township be even better with communication, transparency, and take a look at the way decisions are made that effect our residents. We need to make common sense decisions and not be afraid to look at other options. We need also verity that our first responders have the proper tools to get them to the emergency location quickly . I want to focus again on getting residents more access to meetings with the use of technology and give them the option be be better informed.
Partner with other communities to look at better ways to promote our community. We pride ourselves in our small township feel and need to ensure we continue to keep that at the top of our goals by working with the county planning and zoning to keep our way of life intact but also encouraging people to join our community and give us more opportunities and options.
