I am a Christian and a Servant Leader. I have extensive experience managing businesses in the private sector. I understand financials and working within a budget. Zero-based budgeting is possible.
As your congressman I am a "Constitutional Originalist". I believe all members of Congress have a responsibility to protect our laws and to keep the other branches of government in check with the U.S. Constitution as our guide.
Free speech is a cornerstone of our Republic and that public and private discourse is necessary and must be protected. I also believe that "Peaceful Assembly" is a right that should be protected. However, when we allow assembly that is NOT peaceful, we violate this right for those who desire peaceful assembly. We must hold to the entire First Amendment, Free Speech AND PEACEFUL assembly.
I believe the President of the United States has the role and power to make these critical decisions. I believe Congress the right to demand transparency of purpose and intended outcomes but ultimately as long as the President does not violate any U.S. laws, he/she id the final decision-maker.
I believe in our America First agenda. For many years we have stifled progress with red tape and regulations within our energy sector. I believe in protecting our environment while at the same time streamlining the process for permits/project approvals. The stifling of our Energy industry has opened the door for "bad actors" on the world stage to rake in billions to be used for evil purposes.
I believe the ACA was one of the biggest farces pushed onto the American people in our time. I believe our healthcare system needs complete reform. We must promote market competition, deregulation and choice, and direct consumer funding.

I'm the only candidate with 12 years of congressional experience as a district staffer with Congressman Farenthold & Cloud. I will hit the ground running. I know how to run the district from day one.
First, Congress must reclaim its Article I authority. Too much power has been given to the executive branch. Second, we must strengthen oversight in a nonpartisan and constitutional way. Third, we need to respect the role of the courts while ensuring they INTERPRET the Constitution as written and not allow legislation from the bench. Finally, accountability flows from the people upward.
The first amendment is not a suggestion - it is a guarantee. Congress must ensure that free speech is protected equally for everyone. The right to PEACEFUL assembly must be defended consistently without fear of retaliation. Congress must exercise strong oversight when federal agencies step beyond their authority. Oversight is how we keep constitutional rights from being quietly eroded.
Congress - not the executive alone - should set clear trade policies. The Constitution gives Congress authority over trade. Tariffs should be targeted and strategic, not blanket taxes on American families. They are effective to counter unfair trade practices and protect national security. Congress must consider regional impacts. Tariffs should protect America - not punish American families.
America doesn't have to choose between reliable, affordable energy and protecting the environment. We can do both. We should prioritize American energy production. We do it cleaner and safer than other countries with weaker regulations. We must invest in innovation & infrastructure to strengthen energy security. Reliable, affordable, and clean energy is not a contradiction - it's a responsibility.
The federal government should focus on public health, prevention, and transparency. Healthcare should also be MORE affordable; Congress must address the cost at the source. Access matters as much as cost. Federal programs should be managed responsibly so they remain solvent for future generations. Affordable and accessible healthcare comes from empowering patients, making government work better.

As a strong America First conservative and the first Mexican-born woman to serve in Congress, I am fully prepared to hit the ground running serving Texas' 34th Congressional District.
It's straightforward: all three branches of the federal government must follow the Constitution, the greatest founding document in the history of the world. As a member of Congress, I will look at any legislation that comes up for a vote through that lens of constitutionality.
Members of Congress are bound to uphold the First Amendment along with the rest of the Constitution. There's a reason the Founders put it first - the right to speak freely is one of the cornerstones of a free society, and I will passionately protect that right when I am in office.
I fully support President Trump's efforts to make better trade deals across the globe that treat American workers and businesses fairly. What he is doing is working as evidenced by the strong GDP growth in Q3 and the lower rate of inflation. In Congress I will work to sustain this growth so that working families in South Texas can truly prosper.
We need to fully develop American energy sources. For too long we have relied on foreign sources of energy, and I support the Trump Administration's efforts to restore our energy independence and create more good paying jobs for our oil and gas workers while proving low cost energy for American consumers.
The federal government should not be in the business of telling Americans what they can and cannot eat and do. Instead, it should promote healthy foods and lifestyles based on scientific evidence. We also need to bring down the cost of healthcare and health insurance by reforming the Obamacare system that has driven up prices while reducing choice and availability of care.

With 10 years of real law enforcement work, and 35 as a business owner, I have the experience to lead from Day 1. I’ll donate my entire salary to District 34 charities. I’m here to serve, not profit.
In my 27 years of experience as a federal government contractor, I have seen firsthand how government operations work and where they often overstep. I will preserve America's founders’ system by ensuring Congress remains an equal partner to the executive branch, using the power of the purse and strict oversight to prevent overreach and keep the government accountable to the people, not lobbyists.
As a present community leader who lives, works, and worships in District 34, I believe the legislator’s role is to be an unwavering shield for the First Amendment. Our core values of Faith, Family, and Freedom cannot be preserved if they are silenced or suppressed. I will fight to ensure every citizen can speak and assemble without fear of government overreach.
As a business owner of 35 years, I recognize balance is needed. I believe Congress should use tariffs to protect South Texas workers from unfair competition, but not at the cost of destroying a free market. We must support our ports and industries to bring better-paying jobs home. I will fight for a balanced approach that secures our economy without burdening families with higher costs.
As a lifelong Corpus Christi resident, recognize our region as the heartbeat of America’s energy independence. We must utilize our local resources to ensure we never rely on foreign adversaries for power. While we should be mindful of the environment, we cannot pretend technology exists to replace traditional energy sources. I will protect our energy sector to keep costs low for South Texas.
Government should promote health through choice, not mandates. I will lower costs by fostering public-private partnerships and healthy competition, which naturally drives quality up and prices down. My plan includes Veteran Healthcards so our heroes can get care anywhere they choose. I will fight for affordable, accessible care that puts South Texas families first.
