What two attributes and qualifications prepare you to be a College Trustee?
Given uncertain revenue, how do you plan to maintain, develop, and grow CWC programs?
Describe the role that CWC should play in workforce development as well as in Fremont County, Wyoming, and the Moutain West.
The Moral imperative has been a lifelong guide. This has enabled me to recognize a
principal and act accordingly. This also encompasses my actions, thoughts and
philosophy and the relationship to humanness. My approach will benefit Central
Wyoming College and their goals.
Secondly, I am a life long learner. My mothers’ words from a very early age were
simply, read and then read some more. This attribute has enabled me to see the world
and humanness from both a collective and individual perspective.
I have prepared myself at an academic level, Bachelors from Brigham Young Un
Fiduciary responsibilities will be my primary goal directly connected to CWC goals and
who I am elected to represent. A comprehensive understanding of the budget and the
CWC program coupled with loyalty, prudence and confidentiality will enable me to
develop and grow CWC programs.
Workforce development will benefit CWC greatly. WD when implemented both
professionally and pragmatically will enhance staff skills and ensuring longevity with
CWC. Secondly, WD provides career progression as staff will potentially have greater
access to job opportunities which then provide CWC with grater job security. For CWC
there is the potential for increased productivity and minimal turnover. I will provide a
role model for all CWC students and our tribal students. Secondly, I will foster a culture
of continuous learning.
