The Nevada State Assembly is the lower chamber of the state Legislature and works alongside the Senate to draft, debate, and enact state laws. All 42 Assembly seats are up for election in 2026, and the Assembly plays a central role in shaping policy on schools, healthcare, housing, jobs, public safety, and state budgeting. Because Assembly members represent local districts and serve two-year terms, these races allow voters to hold lawmakers closely accountable and ensure that policy priorities reflect the needs and values of their communities. These elections matter for democratic representation and for how the state resolves the biggest challenges facing Nevadans.

I support policies that respect the humanity of immigrants and protect families from fear and harm. I believe schools, churches, and community spaces should remain safe places, not targets for immigration enforcement actions that create trauma in our communities. I support protections for DREAMERS, fair pathways to citizenship, and accountability when laws or constitutional rights are violated. Nevada is home to diverse families, and our policies should reflect compassion, fairness, and human dignity.
Redistricting is necessary as populations continue to grow. The process should be fair, transparent, and involve community input. District boundaries should not be drawn in a way that gives one group more power over another or weakens the voices of marginalized communities. Every community deserves fair representation and at the end of drawing boundaries, their should be a equity poll to determine if representation is equitable.
I had the opportunity to work on SB 331, which deepened my understanding of the importance of preventative and equitable practices in schools. One improvement I would like to see is stronger preventative measures and intervention supports that help address behaviors before they escalate. I also believe schools should continue monitoring discipline practices to address the overrepresentation of marginalized groups in disciplinary actions.

I would support schools, churches and hospitals to be safe havens. Schools are for learning, Churches hold religious sanctity and hospitals are for healing. People/students shouldn't have to worry about being arrested in these environments.
I would also support state law enforcement officers to only enforce state crimes. We shouldn't be diverting state resources to a federal issue.
It should be done in a non-partisan manner, ensuring equal representation and that communities are kept together,
I would like increased educational funding, increased access for high school students to trade programs so they can graduate with certificates ready to work and I would like a final answer as to whether or not the district should be separated.
