I support free and fair elections. Congressional districts should be reflective of the partisan population and not lopsidedly gerry-mandered because one party is in power.
Voting should be done with in-person voting with a valid ID. I do not agree with current effort mandating proof of citizenship for 2026 elections - it should be introduced with discretion in next 4 to 6 years. Mail in voting should be limited to appropriate requests.
ICE should focus on criminals including both violent and fraud type crimes. I believe it acceptable to deport others that have deportation orders and similar. I also support enforcement of E-Verify laws for employees. Illegal immigrants should not be on welfare.
ICE agents should be supported and sanctuary cities should be prohibited. Vast majority are Why local authorities want to put criminal illegal aliens back on the street in their communities is beyond my comprehension.
Role of ICE and Federal Government is to enforce laws that control our borders and safeguard its citizens.
The federal government must strive to bring the national deficit under control. This protects future of our children and slows inflation. Reducing regulations that slow development of key minerals and slow business progress must be eliminated.
My CPA and business qualifications will allow me to use experience and AI to reduce fraud and inappropriate expenditure of federal funds. Same opinion to reduce State fund fraud.
Interest rates also need to be reduced but Congress has limited authority in that area.
None. The Supreme Court moved control over abortion back to the States and their voters should determine the rules.
When I was Chairman of Washoe County School District Audit Committee, it was difficult to work with the WCSD Board that was and is predominantly liberal. We were able to make significant changes using pure logic and providing strong evidence where they were convinced to change long running policies.
In Congress I am confident that legislation can be created to satisfy both parties. Concessions from Republicans must be horse-traded with concessions from Democrats. To pass legislation it is unlikely both parties can be totally satisfied or dis-satisfied.

I support secure, fair, and accessible elections. Every legal voter should be able to cast a ballot without intimidation, confusion, or unnecessary barriers. I support accurate voter rolls, strong safeguards against fraud, transparent counting processes, and timely results. I also support making sure rural communities have adequate polling access, trained election workers, and clear voter information so no Nevadan is left behind because of where they live.
I support ICE 100%. ICE plays an important role in enforcing immigration law, combating human trafficking, stopping drug trafficking, and removing dangerous criminals who are in our country illegally. The federal government has a duty to secure our borders, uphold the rule of law, and protect American citizens. I support strong enforcement, accountability, and policies that put the safety and interests of the American people first.
We need to lower costs, strengthen American jobs, and support the industries that keep Nevada moving. That means responsible energy policy, support for mining, ranching, agriculture, small businesses, and infrastructure that helps communities grow. We must reduce burdensome regulations, encourage domestic production, and fight inflation that hurts working families. Rural Nevada must not be left behind when federal investments are made.
I am pro-life and believe every life has value. I support policies that protect mothers and babies, expand access to prenatal care, adoption resources, and maternal health services. I also believe states should have a strong role in setting abortion laws, and that elected leaders should support families so women are not left without help during difficult circumstances.
I have served on the Lander County School Board, where people often bring different viewpoints and priorities to the table. In that role, I have listened respectfully, focused on facts, and worked to find practical solutions that put students and families first. We may not always agree on every issue, but progress happens when people communicate honestly and stay focused on the shared goal. In Congress, I would take the same approach: listen, be respectful, stand by my values, and work with anyone willing to help Nevada.

I support strict voter ID for every election. Only U.S. citizens 18 and older who reside in the precinct vote. Citizenship and age are the sole qualifications. No citizen loses voting rights.
Paper ballots only with mandatory hand audits plus full risk-limiting audits. Voter rolls cleaned regularly. A functioning Secretary of State prevents non-citizens, duplicates, and inactive voters.
No ballot harvesting. Mail ballots require verified requests with signature matching and witnesses. Absentee for proven hardship with deadlines, supporting requested mail-in for Americans abroad and elderly or infirm. Election Day in-person is standard.
These secure elections without restricting legitimate access.
Before 2003, INS effectively repatriated over 1 million people per year mostly through voluntary returns. This was done with fewer staff and at far lower cost than today, while formal removals stayed low.
After ICE's creation in 2003, enforcement shifted heavily to formal removals with re-entry bars and harsher penalties. Budgets tripled from $3.3B to $9-10B with large expansions in detention and staffing.
This approach has been associated with over 200 detention deaths (many preventable), increased civil rights complaints, and significantly higher costs.
A return to a civil-focused INS-style model would deliver efficient, lower-cost enforcement with less intrusion while maintaining federal authority.
Deploy Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors (LFTRs) for safe, abundant, zero-carbon baseload power alongside solar and batteries. In Nevada’s 2nd District, LFTR-driven desalination of vast brackish aquifers (4,000+ year supply) delivers unlimited fresh water and near-zero-cost electricity. Surplus power enables synthetic carbon-neutral fuel production, high-paying jobs, and exports that fill a sovereign wealth fund—permanently funding Universal Basic Income (UBI) as a floor beneath which no American can fall.
This America-First approach ends reliance on polluting industries, creates prosperity through innovation and abundance, and secures our future with cheap energy, water, and economic security for all.
I support a woman's right to choose and her bodily autonomy. Federally, I oppose any national ban or restrictions on abortion access. This is a personal medical decision between a woman, her doctor, and her family—not a federal mandate.
Consistent with the Tenth Amendment, the federal government has no role imposing a one-size-fits-all policy. The issue belongs to the states and individuals.
In my activism exposing institutional racism and misconduct in the Reno Police Department, I brought together progressive community organizers, conservative libertarians, independent journalists, and local elected officials from both parties. Despite deep ideological differences, we focused on shared facts and demanded accountability—resulting in the termination of the police chief.
In Congress, I will apply the same approach: build principled coalitions across the aisle by focusing on common-sense outcomes for Nevadans rather than partisan loyalty, whether on fiscal responsibility, border security, or cutting wasteful spending.
