Experience alone can produce a competent prosecutor. But the good ones possess a track record of honesty, integrity, and a commitment to justice. In 9 years as a prosecutor, I earned a reputation as a skilled trial lawyer who could successfully handle major cases.

A demonstrated ability to win matters but only in the context of being committed to doing the right thing. Sometimes the right thing means pushing strong cases to trial because the maximum sentence must be sought.

I am the most qualified candidate because I have the character you can trust to 1) decide when harsh justice will be sought and 2) deliver it.
Voters should choose the candidate who shares their sense of what it means for a prosecutor to "do the right thing." It might sound strange, but seeking maximum sentences for violent, repeat offenders is the easy part. We need to stop making soft plea offers to our worst criminals- who have been given enough chances- and take them off the streets. This will not only incapacitate them from reoffending, but it will deter others in the community from making similar choices.

However, how a prosecutor ought to handle a situation involving a minor offense, a first-time offender, or our youth should be equally important to voters. Please visit my website for more on rehabilitation, incentivizing a clean record, and doing the right thing.

I have devoted my 16-year-career to fighting for victims of crime as a prosecuting attorney with the Berrien County Prosecutor's Office. This includes conducting over 50 jury trials involving homicide, child sexual abuse, drug distribution, and violent gun crimes. Recently, I have served as the prosecutor liaison to the Southwest Enforcement Team (a multi jurisdictional law enforcement task force devoted to the proactive investigation of drug distribution, illegal weapons offenses, and human trafficking), holding accountable those who wreak havoc on our community by preying on the vulnerable. I also serve as a member of the Drug Treatment Court, assisting those whose addiction brings them into the criminal justice system.
I am committed to community safety. I believe that law and order is the bedrock of a flourishing community that safeguards the future for the next generation. Upholding the rule of law ensures fairness, justice and security that all citizens can enjoy. To achieve this, I will continue to partner with local law enforcement and advocacy groups that work tirelessly to achieve these same goals. In this regard, I am honored to have the endorsement of every police chief in Berrien County. I was also named the 2024 Team Member of the year by the Children's Advocacy Center for my work on child sexual abuse prosecutions. Growing up as a farm girl from Benton Township, I am no stranger to hard work, and Berrien County deserves nothing less.
