The role of the Clerk is as much handling the day-to-day administration as much as it is making decisions as a Township Board member. I will continue to improve administrative processes that include record keeping, agenda and minute management, bills payable, payroll processing and data organization. I will continue to provide a high standard of service to our voters and election workers and improve upon our processes with election management. I will also continue to boost our communication efforts with our community to help keep everyone informed.
As the current Township Clerk, I bring extensive experience to this role. I have successfully navigated significant election changes as a result of Proposal 2022-2 and lead an initiative to improve our cemeteries. My strong problem-solving abilities and administrative skills are assets to this position. I've taken multiple trainings including completing the three year Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks certification program, attending three years of Michigan Township Association trainings and will soon be a Township Governance Academy graduate and have also attended yearly cemetery trainings all four years I've been Clerk.
