Occupation/Current Position Retired Licensed Architect
Education Bachelor of Science in Architecture & Bachelor of Architecture
I am a semi retired Licensed Architect and Real Estate Broker with over forty years of financial budget and personnel management experience. I have been the Chair of the Inland Township Planning Commission, Board of Review and Zoning Board of Appeals for more than five years. During my full time experience I managed construction projects from a few thousand dollars to $45 million budgets, fully managing the coordination of construction companies while controlling the construction budget.

Currently, the Supervisor, Clerk and one Trustee need to be replaced because the lack of vision or planning. For too many times candidates don't face any competition giving them no reason to reach out to citizens input, this is one of my motivating factors to run.

Because of the lack of planning and un-wiliness to take advantage of education opportunities our board lacks the drive to improve their ability to serve our community. We need to get more citizen involvement so the planning process can happen insuring the proper use of township funds.

The Inland Independent Team is running to change the board to bring focus on fiscal responsible planning insuring our citizens have as much voice in the process as they want.
The Township is sitting on over a million dollars without a fiscal plan. For the longest time the Board had no understanding on investing the township funds until a new Treasurer was brought on board. We need to come up with a realistic budget to understand where our funds are being expended looking for the opportunities to reallocate where we can.

We have issues in the Zoning Administrator position who appears to take those requesting changes more than accepting the Planning Commissions power to have input on these issues. This position is critical to insure the citizen's desire for our township is met. The township needs a fully qualified person in the Zoning Administrator position.

The township has Policy and Procedures Manual that is years out of date that needs to addressing. Along with this manual we need to address personnel compensation which goes along with the proper budgeting. Currently the board only looks at compensation as it relates to current economic forces instead of relating to actual functioning in those positions.
