South Carolina Senate District 30

Duties: The South Carolina Senate shares responsibility with the SC House of Representatives in making new laws, changing old laws and studying what outcome laws will have on the people in their districts and our state. Qualifications: State Senators serve four-year terms, are considered part-time citizen legislators who are elected at-large by their district, and there are no term limits. State Senators must be at least 25 years of age and must be a registered voter in their district. There are 46 State Senate districts which are re-apportioned after each census.Multiple in-person Early Voting sites are available during the 2 weeks prior to election day.
