The purpose of Florida’s District Courts of Appeal is to provide the opportunity for thoughtful review of decisions of lower tribunals by multi-judge panels. District Courts of Appeal correct harmful errors and ensure that decisions are consistent with our rights and liberties. This process contributes to the development, clarity, and consistency of the law.Term: 6 Years Salary: $212,562Adrian Soud is a judge of the Florida 5th District Court of Appeal. He assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 7, 2025. Judge Soud served on the 4th Judicial Circuit of Florida from 2009-2022, having been first elected in August 2008.  Judge Soud served as Administrative Judge of the Circuit Felony divisions in Duval County from 2020-2022.
