I am committed to restoring harmony and pragmatic decision-making within the legislature. My aim is to foster constructive dialogues that lead to effective solutions for our pressing water concerns. Additionally, I aspire to contribute positively to tax reform deliberations, advocating for a more fair and intelligent tax framework that benefits all. It's essential to focus on addressing genuine challenges rather than chasing after unnecessary solutions.
As a Certified Financial Planner with close to 15 years of experience in the finance and insurance industries, I possess a deep understanding of working with clients from various backgrounds and perspectives. My track record speaks to my ability to effectively navigate different viewpoints and achieve results. Furthermore, my tenure as Precinct Committeeman since 2022 and my leadership roles within the County Central Committee have allowed me to cultivate valuable connections over the years. I am confident that the relationships I've cultivated over the years will be instrumental in representing our district and state effectively at the Capitol.
Idaho's major challenges are water management, crime, the illegal flow of drugs like fentanyl due to a broken border policy, and economic stability. Water is a complicated issue and needs to be address with numerous solutions. But the most important thing is getting the right people to the table to work together for fair and mutually beneficial solutions. We need to continue to send our state police to the border for training, so they are better equipped to protect us from the flow of illegal drugs. And our economy needs some creative solutions to not just lower taxes but make our tax system smarter and more effective. By focusing on real issues, I can help build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Idaho.
I have a client whose daughter-in-law faced a heartbreaking situation when one of her twins became nonviable, endangering both the other twin and herself. Forced to act swiftly, she had to travel to Colorado for the necessary medical procedure. It's tragic that we lack sensible legislation on abortion, leaving families in distressing predicaments. While I am pro-life and do not condone abortion, I will advocate for compassionate laws that prioritize individual well-being. We must support doctors in making ethical decisions, never hold them criminally liable for doing their jobs, and enact legislation grounded in empathy and reason
I cherish my family and Idaho deeply. My values are rooted in faith, family, and patriotism, aligning with traditional conservative principles. As a Regan Republican, I prioritize protecting our children and keeping boys out of girls' locker rooms. Public funds should stay with public schools. And we must uphold our constitutional freedoms. I do not believe that the Republican Party is on the right path. We have leadership who openly fights against anyone that does not get in line with their agenda. I advocate for personal freedoms, guided by faith, to nurture peaceful, harmonious family lives. I believe it's time for a change of culture in Boise and I believe I am the person who can help bring that change.
