I'm a candidate, because I want choices on my ballot. We need someone who understand the community. It's time to try a little common sense. My main concerns in Idaho is our Education, healthcare, the needs of the working class and decent roads. If we make these improvements, everything should falls into place.
I have strong roots in my area. I know the communities, and I know their concerns and disappointments. As a journalist, Spanish-speaking Radio Host, I hear my community. They want changes made on their behalf. What experience do I have? I like to think I have common sense.
Since the early 2000s, there have been no choice for voters and no solutions coming from the legislature either. Recent Republican legislation and party infighting haven't' let to increased wages or common sense improvements for farmers. Our Idaho House is one-sided. there is no real debate or compromise on new bills. My concern is nothing representing the working class will be in their benefit.
I am a Board member for the Cassia Regional Hospital in Burley. Doctors are leaving the state at an alarming rate. Idaho lost 22% of practicing obstetricians since its abortion bans took effect, according to a report by the Idaho Physician Well-Being Action Collaborative. “Hospital administrators are telling us that the lack of clarity in Idaho's legal environment regarding maternal health care has created uncertainty and fear." My Catholic beliefs tells me that abortion is wrong, sad, and damaging, but I don't believe we should legislate this type of morality.
I want to show that Democrats are lifelong Idahoan locals who want to better and improve society. I'm running, because I want to see a better future for community. We all have to do our part in bettering the community and I believe - I can make a difference by listening to the local people.
