I want to help protect people from mosquito-borne disease.
I am a current Anastasia Mosquito Control board member (8 years), science teacher and business owner. Additionally, I was Anastasia Mosquito Control District's first Education Specialist.
We need to continue to strive towards increasing mosquito control efficiency and effectiveness using a variety of methods that minimize the use of chemicals.
In order to meet the demands of a growing county/ service requests and keep SJC free from mosquito-borne disease, we will need to increase the use of technology and consider more efficient strategies.
