The number one challenge is assurance of sufficient money to operate. Identify critical funding needs for essential operation. Move forward to determine future ways to save money and establish a future timber harvest bringing in sufficient dollars .

Forest Management is number two we need to move quickly and deliberately to establish through coordination with federal and state agencies the methods by which we can return Grant County to the timber harvest levels necessary to support our social and economic needs. We have the resources we just need to put them to work before they go up in flames.

The third is to support our growing population of Senior Citizens continue to provide the services and opportunities at the current levels.
I am a people person, a good listener, and action oriented. I am a highly trained professional business manager that understands all levels of business. For the past 8 years I have been working on-the-ground engaging with many City, County, Federal and State agencies I start with a "current working knowledge" of most significant events in Grant County at many levels including Schools, Small Business, Homelessness, Forest management at state, federal, and private property levels. I am in regular communications with Childcare provider. I understand Coordination and will work to successfully move the county to Government-to-Government working relationships with Federal and State Agencies. I will hit the ground running.
I will lead the County to support and address the supply of housing in the region so long as it is focused in the best interest of all the residents in Grant County. We need more affordable single family homes, apartments for seasonal and traveling medical employees who are single and some with families. We also need a secure structure to house those arrested in Grant County that are required by law to return here after they are released this will need to be staffed with professional trained personnel including law enforcement officer(s). I am not interested in and will not support moving large groups of aliens or currently homeless persons to Grant County for those housing opportunities I will stand against.
