I always try to be fiscally responsible with taxpayer dollars, spending those dollars as if they were my own money.
We need to continue to update our facilities like we have done with the courthouse and the new Byxbe Campus.

Gentrification and soil and water conservation are the two most important challenges. Big tech is starting to move into central Ohio and we will need to prepare to protect our homeland from unsustainable development which pushes out local citizens. Amongst all of this our natural resources become more eroded and polluted due to things like construction, development, and farming chemicals being used too close to water sources. Fostering Public spaces, farmland buyback programs, sustainable tax incentives, exemptions for senior citizens on fixed income, and construction codes are all steps in the right direction to ensuring our prosperous future.
Promoting representation of all and underrepresented people, careful evaluation of tax abatements and incentives, prioritizing the community over the whims of developers, encouraging unionization of our local workforces, and protecting the good farmland, public spaces, and long standing culture which our growing county features.
Budget decisions have to be carefully addressed and by majority rule among all three commissioners. I hope to bring democratic values to this majority republican run team and hold strong to my values as a working class and long term citizen of Ohio.
During a four year term I hope to achieve a sustainable plan of growth for the county which doesn’t leave behind underrepresented people, planet, and culture.
