I am supportive of a bipartisan effort to fix our immigration system. America is a country of immigrants, and we must create more pathways to citizenship and work eligibility for those entering our country. We need to come together for a solution to this critical issue - if both sides are just focused on winning, we will never see progress. Our leaders should not use people's lives and legal status as a political bargaining chip. As your Senator, I‘ll take a common-sense, people-first approach to this important issue.
In our pursuit of a just and equitable society, I firmly believe in the fundamental right of women to make decisions about their reproductive health. The majority of Nebraskans oppose restrictive bans on abortion. I stand with women across our State who are tired of the government coming in between them and their doctor.
There are many ways that Nebraska can address climate change that is affecting our weather patterns, local farmers, and even our safety. I'll advocate for initiatives that help Nebraska farmers adapt to and mitigate the impacts of climate change, supporting the development and implementation of practices that enhance resilience in the face of changing weather patterns. I'll also push for the extension and enhancement of conservation programs to support Nebraska farmers in adopting sustainable agricultural practices that preserve soil health, protect water resources, and promote biodiversity.
I'm running for Senate to put people over politics. It's time for leadership that works to bridge the economic, partisan, geographic, and racial gaps that are growing in our country and our state. I'm ready to represent all Nebraskans - not just the ones who agree with me. I'm running to bridge the gaps that divide us. That's what my candidacy is about, that's what my entire career has been about, and that's what I'll prioritize as your Senator.

We need leadership that prioritizes access to reproductive rights, affordable healthcare, voting rights, and supporting a strong economy in the urban and rural parts of our state. I'm ready to be that leader and get real results for all Nebraskans.
