District 7 Delegates to the Democratic National Convention {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

DUTIES: Convention delegates elected in the Primary are part of the state delegations that officially select their party’s presidential candidate at the party’s national conventions. Presidential nominees are not elected directly by the voters in the Primary. Rather, voters in each state choose delegates to represent them at the national conventions.HOW ELECTED: Democratic voters will elect delegates to their national convention from each Congressional District (CD), with the number based on the number of Democratic voters in that district. Each Congressional District will elect approximately equal numbers of female and male delegates, with some non-binary delegates included within the state total. Each candidate’s gender will be listed under their name on the ballot. The presidential candidates will receive delegates in proportion to their share of the vote in that district. I was appointed to the Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee in 2022 and officially elected by District 43A residents to serve. Prior to even being elected or appointed, I dedicated my time and energy to making sure Baltimore residents were equipped with the tools necessary to make informed decisions during the election cycle. During the election I was on the ground and in the field to help democratic candidates win up and down the state.
This is a critical time for our democracy and the time for action is NOW! President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have worked in partnership to undo the damage set in motion by their predecessors. All while Republicans are working hard to strip marginalized groups of their rights. We need action and we need it now. I believe the Biden/Harris team can continue to move us forward in the right direction.

President Biden is experienced, consistently exhibits good judgment, stable, and applies common sense in handling the complex issues that arise in government. He displays an understanding of American values and exudes compassion for the people. President Biden will continue to protect civil rights, individual freedom and equality, health care for all, labor rights, voting rights and the principles of democracy. A second term will solidify America's world standing and continue progress at home.
