The Democratic State Central Committee plays a direct part in shaping party strategy, supporting candidates, and ensuring accountability within our statewide party structure. I want to be an active, engaged voice in those decisions—focused on strengthening local organizing, building a stronger grassroots candidate pipeline, and making sure our party is responsive to the communities we serve.
My top priorities, if elected, will be increasing youth voter registration and turnout by engaging directly in communities like Evanston that are too often overlooked. I will work to ensure grassroots candidates have the platform, resources, and momentum to run full-fledged campaigns—without being pushed aside before voters even hear their message. I will also use my voice to advocate for statewide candidates to invest in building a strong ground game in Cincinnati, because winning the three Cs with high turnout is key to winning Ohio.
When elected, I will promote voter turnout by engaging directly with eligible students in high schools across Senate District 9 and building strong partnerships with local Democratic clubs. Together, we will knock doors and maintain a visible presence at community events like parades and festivals. My focus will be making sure voters know who the candidates are, understand the issues, and have clear information on when, where, and how to register and vote in both primary and general elections.
