When I talk to people, the issues they are most concerned about are not "Republican" or "Democrat" issues, they are not black or white issues. They are issues common to all residents across Arkansas, and they all feel we lack good representation in DC. There’s not a single person that I’ve met campaigning so far that doesn’t agree about the issues we all face and the shared values underlying our concerns. Farmers struggling, the foster care system, the economy, the Buffalo National River — all these issues we can all agree on.

We don’t have the proper representation talking to us; they don’t come home. So that’s when I knew, I live here, this is my home, I’m always coming home, so I might as well start representing the people.
Holding accountable those who are spending taxpayer dollars – whether that is foreign nations we're sending aid to, or infrastructure investments in high-speed internet expansion to rural areas. We absolutely must demand transparency in all government spending and we must ensure we are spending efficiently and achieving the biggest impact and best result. Secondly, my loyalties lie with helping the biggest number of constituents – and I am great at building consensus and compromise. I believe we need more problem-solvers and consensus-builders in Washington, and fewer agents of chaos who do little more than spout extremist language that widens the divide among Americans.
Absolutely I do. We are seeing far too many instances of election officials at local and state levels who have fallen for the fear-mongering lies about elections being stolen and now are doing everything they can to delay, meddle, sew chaos, and intimidate voters who don't follow their conspiracy theories and lies. We must pass federal voting rights legislation so that once and for all we can end voter suppression. In my opinion, voting should be as easy as it is to wire money from one bank to another, and we certainly have the technology to do it securely. Election Day should be a national holiday, transportation to the polls should be free for anyone who needs it, and voting should be mandatory.

In-person and virtual town halls; virtual office hours so constituents can speak to their Representative's office over a video call without needing to wait weeks or months; frequent video podcast updates from the Congress members' offices; frequent online constituent surveys on important legislation being considered; and an automated system for recording, processing, and resolving constituent requests to their Representative's office, sort of like a tech support ticketing system works. Finally, an online dashboard showing what the legislator is working on, what the office is doing for constituents, and frequent opportunities for feedback as well as a running list of ways constituents can get involved from the district.
