The voters of West Little Rock, Ferndale, Roland, Avilla, Alexander, Benton, Salem and Bryant deserve a representative that is focused on issues important to Arkansas and their freedoms. The current legislature is controlled and dictated by a MAGA extremist agenda that is out of touch with the voters and is hurling back 70 years on education and 50 years on women's reproduction healthcare freedoms. I will bring a moderate voice back to the legislature, which is now just a rubberstamp for the Governor. We can and must do better.
We must reform LEARNS to require all schools to play by the same rules. My opponent voted to sent our tax dollars to out-of-state, for-profit companies. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Our public schools are underfunded and there is no evidence that private school vouchers will improve education for the 95% of students in Arkansas.

We also need to restore basic healthcare protections for women and reproductive care. Arkansas women girls should not live in a state that forces them to give birth against their will, especially for victims of violent crime such as rape. My opponent supported stripping away rights from rape victims. That is not limited government or freedom.
No, we need to strengthen it and make it easier for citizens to see how our tax dollars are spent and who is behind the decisions we are making. My opponent was a sponsor that gutted our FOIA law and is aiding and abetting waste, fraud and abuse.

Our elected officials should regularly hold monthly townhalls, even if we do it via Zoom or Facebook live forums. Voters have a right to know what is going on at the legislature. Media coverage is sporadic at best and is filtered through the news source people read, often littered with misinformation and PR slants by those in power.
