To keep our Community Residents Safe, by making sure that we adequately fund the Fire and Police Departments. To complete current Road, Water and the New Fire Department Project(s). Continue to upgrade our parks and buildings. Expand activities for our Youth and Community.

This will and can be done by working collaboratively with the Town of Bernalillo Mayor, Staff, Councilors and our State Legislators to secure State, Federal and Local funding.

The Mayor and Council are diligently working with New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) to reduce traffic congestion in our town.

My experience is 40 plus years in the private business sector. I owned and operated a successful retail business in the Town of Bernalillo for 25 years before selling my business in 2017. I am currently retired and readily available, dedicated and committed to serving my community.
My top priority is Park improvements to include playground and park equipment for Town Parks. Funds would be obtained through Legislative appropriation.
The Town of Bernalillo is in a unique position. Highway 313, aka Camino Del Pueblo and Highway 550 are State Highways and are therefore owned by the NM Department of Transportation (NMDOT) The NMDOT controls and regulates traffic signals on both highways. The Town works traffic situations in coordination with the NMDOT.
My opinion is that All types of businesses are encouraged and welcomed in the Town of Bernalillo. I am an advocate for "shop local" campaign.
A New Fire Station is in need due to the population growth in the Town. The new station is currently in its early development stages. Wastewater Treatment Plant, Bernalillo Water System Improvements, Energy Efficiency Building Conversion, New Fire Truck, Park and Pool Improvements. These are future proposed projects.
As stated, I am retired and active in my community. I continually speak with constituents. I am a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, my children, grandchildren and great grandchild reside and attend Bernalillo Public Schools. I have a vested interest in my hometown and its residents. I am committed to serving my community to the best of my ability.
