Advocating for women's healthcare, ensuring affordable healthcare access for all Ohioans, safeguarding marginalized communities by countering divisive narratives that unfairly portray those considered "different" as “deviant,” and striving to eliminate the divisive nature of politics focused on "win/lose" scenarios. Let's shift our focus towards solving the problems we collectively face.
I believe in automatically registering all of Ohio's citizens when they turn 18 and ensuring that voter registration stays current by synchronizing it with BMV records. Additionally, I support designating Election Day as a holiday to encourage greater civic participation. I am opposed to any policy that seeks to limit access to absentee or early voting. Our focus should be on facilitating and encouraging participation, not erecting barriers to voting.
Drawing from my experience as a designer working on projects globally, I’ve witnessed the strategic long-term planning undertaking by other countries to shape their desired future, and I believe Ohio can adopt a similar approach. To thrive tomorrow, we must look 20-30 years ahead and design our economic landscape today. To do this the government should invest in new technologies, positioning Ohio as the heartland of innovation. By leveraging a combination of state and federal grants to foster innovation and offering tax breaks to attract industries, we can pave the way for a prosperous future in Ohio.
My involvement in the LSDMC for Cheviot School highlights chronic absenteeism as a major hurdle to student success. The severity of this issue is underscored by the ongoing debate on a bipartisan House Bill for a pilot program incentivizing student attendance. I am committed finding the solution to enhance both student and school success. In higher education, I aim to explore avenues for affordable public institutions. I advocate that a successful career path doesn't necessarily require a college degree. It's time to challenge the perception that vocational training and trade schools are "less-than," recognizing their potential for financially rewarding and societally necessary careers without excessive student debt.
I advocate for state support in funding street and utility projects for local governments. In general, I believe individual municipalities should have the autonomy to self-govern. However, exceptions arise when local ordinances attempt to contradict state laws or unfairly target specific demographics. In such cases, it becomes necessary for the state to intervene to ensure a fair and just governance structure.
Healthcare is a human right. No one who works hard their whole life should ever face being bankrupted by medical bills. It’s not right and it’s not okay.
We must take decisive action to protect the environment. I believe in science. Beyond addressing climate change, it is essential to ensure that our water remains safe to drink and our air safe to breathe. Allowing companies to pollute jeopardizes the health and well-being of our communities, and it is our responsibility to safeguard the environment for current and future generations.

Anti-discrimination legislation is not new; however, it should be broadened to ensure protections for all Ohioans. Every individual deserves equal rights in employment, housing, education, and the public square. No one should face exclusion based on their race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, age, sexual orientation, or gender identity. It's imperative to foster an inclusive society where everyone is affirmed and welcomed without prejudice.

1. 1. Limit corporate & banking influence on primary housing, proposing longer review periods for foreclosure cases to protect homeowners. 2. Restrict corporate purchase of residential homes to prevent housing bubbles & ensure affordability. 3. Advocate for a $25 minimum wage, aligning with the average livable hourly pay. 4. Utilize tax revenue from higher wages and marijuana sales to establish a comprehensive health insurance program covering medical, mental health, and addiction services. Extend the coverage to act as a bridge for Medicare recipients, while allowing individuals to maintain private insurance if preferred.
My top changes to election practices are ending gerrymandering and removing money out of campaigns. Please contact the League of Women Voters for more information on gerrymandering. Regarding campaign funding, I don’t believe that there should be money funneled to campaigns. Votes ought not be bought. I believe that there should be equal time given on public access television and radio. Platforms should be presented and that political contributions should be made illegal in Ohio. The only way to fight this monster that is our election process is to not engage in it. That is why I will not be asking for money. Also, will be making my own signs. If folks like what I have to say they can make their own sign or get a hand made one from me.
We can invest in green energy, offer incentives for small businesses like relieving the burden of healthcare of their employeess by having state provided healthcare. Prioritizing education and job training for new industries.
My aspirations for K-12 and higher education: A. I want to end public funding of private educational institutions. Ohio’s public education system is only as great as our worst school. Diverting money away from our public schools to private schools that already receive high tuition is not a solution to this problem. In fact, it undermines the public school system. B. I would like to have college funded like high schools. Private colleges will still exist.
Intervention: Financial failures: If local government faces a hardship or has been mismanaged, the state should step in to provide aid, guidance and oversight. Safety/Emergency Response: Situations such as natural disasters (tornadoes, floods), health crisis (Opioid addiction, COVID), or other extreme circumstances. Social Justice: Any case of racism or bigotry on a governmental level ought have intervention. Rule of Law: If any government has broken the law, the state government must intervene. Development of infrastructure: State might need to regulate/support local governments in projects that are statewide. Jurisdictional Conflicts: If a conflict arose between local governments, the state might step in & offer resolution/mediation.
My position on healthcare was listed in my top priorities. Healthcare should be for all citizens, public + private options, patient protections (Strong HIPPA adherence, no pre-existing exclusions, no discrimination based on gender, etc.) Additionally, I would like to see an emphasis on preventative care, which includes healthy lifestyles and mental healthcare.
I advocate for strong regulations that hold industries like Norfolk accountable for their impact. I support an eco-friendly future. I support limiting industrial development that threatens Ohio’s natural habitats and farmland. I support encouraging renewable energy sources and support local Ohio businesses that install and manufacture these options. Additionally, I support encouraging businesses to go green. For instance, Rumpke includes recycling in their business packages, and many businesses do not take advantage of this offer.
Enforce anti-discrimination laws, review existing laws that are discriminating in nature and change those laws. Additionally, provide education about diversity and inclusion. Most of all, be the example of inclusion.
