Occupation
Executive Director
I am a U.S. Army veteran, nonprofit executive director, and educator with a Doctorate in Business Administration, an MBA, and a background in psychology. My career in service, leadership, and community advocacy has prepared me to address complex challenges and represent Texas’s 12th District with integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to working families.
I support an immigration system that is secure, orderly, and humane. We need strong border security and modern enforcement, but we also need a fair process that reflects our values and economic needs. I support expanding legal pathways, protecting Dreamers, reducing backlogs, and ensuring that families are treated with dignity. Immigration should strengthen our workforce, respect human rights, and keep our communities safe.
I believe the Constitution’s system of checks and balances is essential to protecting our democracy. I would work to strengthen oversight, ensure transparency in government actions, and support an independent judiciary, a free press, and a Congress that exercises its constitutional responsibilities. No branch of government should operate without accountability. My focus is on upholding the rule of law, protecting civil liberties, and ensuring that every decision made in Washington serves the peo
I believe every elected official has a responsibility to uphold and defend the Constitution. My plan is to protect Constitutional rights by supporting legislation that strengthens civil liberties, ensuring robust oversight of government actions, and defending the independence of the courts and the free press. I will work to safeguard voting rights, privacy rights, and equal protection under the law so that every person is treated fairly and government remains accountable to the people.
My plan to address affordability focuses on lowering costs for working families while strengthening long‑term economic stability. I support policies that reduce healthcare and prescription drug costs, expand access to affordable childcare, and increase the supply of housing to bring down prices. I also believe in investing in job training, small businesses, and local infrastructure so families can earn more and keep more of what they earn. Every family deserves an economy that works for them, no
I believe healthcare is a basic human right, and my focus is on lowering costs while expanding access. I support strengthening the Affordable Care Act, protecting Medicare and Medicaid, and allowing Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices. I also support expanding mental health services, increasing primary care access, and reducing out‑of‑pocket costs for working families. By investing in preventive care, lowering drug and provider prices, and improving coverage options, we can buil
I'm a working mom and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience working and starting companies in the Silicon Valley startup sector. Thousands of local mom-and-pop businesses bring their customers back more often because of my early work at Fivestars (now SumUp), where I saw first-hand how locals struggled. After educating nail technicians across the country via an online school, I've pushed for beauty school reform. I'm also exhausted with our country's lack of childcare and health care!
Give immigrants a fair and humane path to citizenship. If you’re here and want to work, we should make it easy: get them social security numbers so they can work and start paying taxes. If they keep a clean record, let them become citizens. We need to fix the visa processing bottlenecks and force a culture reset by forming a new agency. ICE must be abolished and their crimes prosecuted.
We need to comprehensively reform our campaign finance laws to get billionaire and corporate money out of politics. Today, unless you come from wealth and powerful connections, it's almost impossible to run for office. Ideas: Publicly funded elections, launch civics and media literacy initiatives, regulate AI and online attention economy, vote-by-mail, term limits, and holding accountable the bad actors.
We need to regulate unchecked social media, unfettered AI development, and mass surveillance (all these companies are financially backed by the same billionaires meddling in our elections!). We need people in office who can speak to these issues and convince others to vote Democratic values, not just spew out more divisive rhetoric.
Universal health care and universal childcare (implement New Mexico's universal childcare system nationwide). All paid for by taxing the billionaires. I would also advocate for a $20/hr minimum wage (or have it calculated based on zip code, cost of living, inflation, etc).
I would advocate for a 2% wealth tax on billionaires (like Sen. Elizabeth Warren's plans). Basically, do whatever you want with the first $10 million you make each year, but we're going to take $0.02 on every dollar after that to fund a universal healthcare system (Medicare For All) that would include mental and reproductive health care FOR ALL!
