As Constable my priorities would focus on enhancing public safety through community-oriented policing, I will do this by allocating funds from the budget for training that emphasizes de-escalation techniques and cultural awareness. I will focus on modernizing the department's equipment and technology to ensure that all deputies are equipped with the best tools to maximize their effectiveness and proficiency.
As Constable, I aim to build trust and address community concerns through transparent communication, attend community forums and actively participating in local events. I will implement community policing practices, collaborate with local neighborhood leaders and law enforcement agencies, and establish accessible feedback mechanisms to ensure that residents of Precinct 1 voices are heard and that The Nueces County Precinct 1 Constable's Office is responsive to their needs.

I will have an open-door policy so that the citizens can have their concerns and issues addressed properly without delay. When elected I will station a deputy at the abandoned satellite office in Annaville and make sure the citizens of Calallen and Annaville area are taken care of. Make sure Judge Lucy Rubio and her staff of women has sufficient security along with adequate bailiff for her courts.

Direct contact, communication and transparency while establishing problem areas in the neighborhoods. Utilizing technology and social media as a tool to inform the public of safety issues going on. Informing the public that they can reach out to our office at any time for specific questions they may have.
My office will host small meetings within the neighborhoods and schools to address specific problems and concerns within the community. My office will work closely with the Jp courts to help address truancy and drug abuse within our youths. Also, we will help the Jp courts find other resources for mental health for our students. My top priority is the safety of our students and the community.
