As a local resident of 39 years in Colorado County, I have seen and heard from citizens within our communities . My biggest responsibility will be to preserve the peace within my jurisdiction by all means available, prevent or suppress crime where authorized by the Code of Criminal Procedure. I will execute any and all lawful criminal process issued to my office by any magistrate or court. In addition to responding to the constituents of Colorado Co. Pct 4. Implementing this will require a pro-active Constable for the County and support of the citizens within the communities of Pct 4.
I started my experience at a young age working with my family business for past 27 years and was instilled a work ethic that includes God, family and community. I have worked as a full time Law Enforcement officer for several years as well, while also volunteering hundreds of hours as a reserve officer. During this time I have been committed to family and Community. The work ethics my parents have instilled in me along with God and my life experiences, has created this desire in me to protect and serve my community. This will allow me to be the dedicated Constable the people of Colorado Co. Pct-4 need and deserve.
Accountability, Visibility, Availability.
These are three core values that will be instilled in future Pct. 4, reserved deputies and staff. These values will make anyone a genuine go-to person. I intend to be a proactive Constable in the Pct 4, community and improve relationships between other agencies and citizens. Colorado County citizens and children do not have to be afraid to speak with Law Enforcement. Despite the badge, law enforcement are working citizens, who have committed to protect and serve the communities. I plan on using these reserve deputies by implementing a patrol division and narcotic interdiction unit to help deter crime, lower the amount of drugs being brought into our county and destroying our communities .
