The City Council is empowered by the City Charter to pass ordinances and resolutions, adopt regulations and appoint the City Manager. The City Council decides all policy matters for the city. Members of the commission serve four-year terms.This is not a primary election. The winning candidate will immediately fill a vacancy on the council and serve until 12/31/2027.
