Housing
All Housing in the 41st District will be 100% true affordable housing, with units having an AMI no greater than 40%; if public private partnership should happen, the AMI’s greater than 40% must be section 8 eligible to ensure the people in the district can afford it.
Senior village– a state of the art 24 hour community senior center that is catered to ensuring that all seniors in our district are able to be seen and connect with one another
All current housing units that are vacant in the district will be filled with those who have waited patiently for section 8 vouchers. We aim to do our part in bringing down that waiting list of over 500,000 residents who need true affordable housing.
Economic Development
Increase job hirings for our residents by 200% over the next 4 years, by ensuring that ALL job fairs have immediate hires; no more discouragement and time wasted going to these fairs
Offer 100 residents who have an entrepreneurship plan to help improve our district $41,000 to begin their foundation; they will work and be mentored by financial and corporate leaders that reflect our communities to ensure their success
THIS DISTRICT WILL SEE A 200% INCREASE in SMALL BUSINESSES: No longer will this district not have the narrative of no small businesses. From new lounges and centers to bringing back businesses that were affected by a wave of resistance just because you were making more money than your competitors, I want to hear from you and have you at the table; we will greatly increase the economic drive in the district
Youth and Young Adults
Establish a 24 hour technology lab that covers, gaming, content creation and digital/audio production
Extend after school hour programs through aggressive funding that will extend to 8pm for teens 18 and under.

I don't see any, as I'm going into this with a bold vision while enrolling the people of my district to be civic engagement and educated to help create the changes we need to see for our district.

1. Disinvestment in youth and education, limiting opportunities and increasing vulnerability to violence.
2. Lack of affordable housing and rising displacement of long-time residents.
3. Public health disparities, including access to mental health care and support for seniors.
To address youth disinvestment, I’ll use both legislative advocacy and discretionary funding to expand afterschool and summer programs, fund community-led enrichment initiatives, and support nonprofits offering mentorship, college readiness, and career development. For housing, I’ll advocate for a rent freeze for rent-stabilized units, push for stronger tenant protections, support community land trusts, and fight for full NYCHA funding, while using capital allocations to address urgent repairs and upgrades. To confront health disparities, I’ll invest in mobile mental health care, school-based wellness programs, and culturally competent services that reflect the needs of our district. These aren’t isolated fixes, they’re interconnected solutions to restore community stability and equity.
1. Launch the District 41 Academies – pilot afterschool and summer hubs focused on STEM and the arts, in partnership with local schools, cultural institutions, and community-based organizations.
2. Establish a Community Business Incubator – provide workspace, mentorship, and startup support for local entrepreneurs, particularly youth, women, and MWBEs, to turn their ideas into sustainable enterprises that fuel our neighborhood economy.
3. Host a District 41 Public Safety Summit – bring together neighbors, youth, clergy, mental health professionals, NYPD, and violence interrupters to shape a real, community-centered safety strategy.
My most ambitious goal is to build a cradle-to-career pipeline through the creation of District Academies, community-rooted learning centers focused on STEM, the arts, and entrepreneurship. These academies will bridge education, wellness, and workforce pathways, empowering youth from an early age while revitalizing public spaces. Combined with a fully integrated wraparound services model, we’ll ensure that families have access to education, health care, safe housing, and economic opportunity. This isn’t just about fixing broken systems, it’s about designing a new ecosystem of community power with PEOPLE at the center of governance.
The biggest obstacles are political will, bureaucratic delays, and the normalization of scarcity. Too often, bold ideas get buried in backroom politics or stalled by systems designed to maintain the status quo. Additionally, small organizations, especially in communities like ours, are underfunded and overwhelmed, despite being closest to the solutions. As Council Member, I’ll use my office to break through red tape, fight for equitable budget allocations, and ensure that our community-based partners receive the resources they need to succeed. We can’t afford incrementalism, we need urgency, innovation, and fearless advocacy.
