I have lived in Roseville my entire life and feel I am in tune with what the citizens of the city would like to see in regards to changes, services, and lifestyle.
I would like to address blight in the city and would introduce ideas that would offer new businesses incentives to open in the city, creating new jobs and filling vacant storefronts. I would also introduce ideas to address much needed assistance for elderly, low-income and disadvantaged families, as well as legislation that holds landlords accountable for poor property maintenance and management. I would also like to hold Priority Waste accountable for poor service and open a discussion about bringing back the Gratiot Cruise.
Improved public parks, Develop the downtown area (Utica & Gratiot) More activities that encourage community engagement

Grew up in Roseville. Moved back to Roseville 8 years ago. Love this city and want to help make it safe and clean for all residents to live in.
Blight. Over 100 empty buildings and property's in Roseville. Empty means less taxes being paid and no jobs being created and it's a blight to look at.
We have a good base started. We need to round it out with more family friendly businesses. Sprinkle in a few bakeries also. Mmmmmm.
Been on economic and brownsfield committee with Madison heights. Currently on the Roseville water department appeal board. I currently belong to chapter 154 Vietnam veterans honor guard sadly we do 8 to 10 military funerals in Macomb county each month. My seniors group sings at nursing homes for the residents in Macomb and Oakland county's.

Our aging roadways and infrastructure must be maintained and I will continue to work at obtaining additional grants and state/federal funding to address this issue. Vacant commercial properties continue to be an issue and we were the first city certified as Redevelopment Ready and maintain this certification to attract new businesses into our city and I am open to providing reasonable tax relief to encourage new businesses to move into the City of Roseville. Blight needs to be eliminated by having adequate Code Enforcement to monitor the entire city on a weekly basis.

We are working to attract entertainment, shopping, dining and family friendly venues especially for the downtown area we are striving to develop.
