I believe the appeal to living and working in the Bangor Township and our ability to attract long-term residents into the future is tied to having a quality school district, quality infrastructure and town services while maintaining the rural small-town atmosphere.
1. Maintain a fiscally responsible approach to carry out the business of the Bangor Township.
2. Be open to hearing and addressing the concerns and needs of the town community members.
3. Carry out the duties of the town board in a professional and respectable manner.
My approach to developing relationships with people is the same whether they are municipal department heads, municipal employees or my friends and neighbors. I listen to them, act with sincerity and respect and be honest in my conversations and decisions.
I am not running for town board because I have any agenda, initiative or grievance to put forth. I have lived in Bangor Township for over 15 years. I have raised 4 children here. I have run an agricultural business for the last 10 years from my home and I plan on remaining here in my retirement. I have chosen to run, simply as part of my effort to step up and help maintain the community that I and my family have and will continue to be a part of.
