I am focused on evaluating and modernizing Muskego’s Fire and EMS services to ensure strong readiness, staffing, and rapid emergency response, while equipping our police with the tools needed to address crime entering Muskego from outside communities. I will continue investing in road repair and maintenance, protecting Muskego’s reputation as one of Wisconsin’s safest and most desirable places to live, and working with state legislators to find meaningful ways to reduce the property tax burden.
The best way to ensure equal access to city resources is to keep the local tax burden low so seniors and families are not forced out of their homes. I will continue investing in strong police, fire, and EMS services so residents feel safe and secure. Safe neighborhoods and affordable taxes create lower living costs which create opportunity for everyone to live, work, and thrive.
I am committed to increasing the number of police officers on patrol, continuing strong support for school liaison officers, and investing in advanced training technology using artificial intelligence and virtual reality to prepare officers for real-world situations. I will also promote community programs like the Citizens Police Academy, which strengthen trust, encourage involvement, and support a “see something, say something” approach to public safety.
This is not a issue a majority of Muskego citizens want to see us use our limited resources on.
Collaboration is a priority for me. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin League of Municipalities, where local leaders share ideas, resources, and best practices to improve efficiency. I also participate in the Waukesha County Cooperation Council and meet weekly with the mayors of New Berlin, Brookfield, and Waukesha to exchange ideas and work cooperatively on regional challenges and opportunities.
