I want to provide support to our teachers and administrators so that they may continue providing the best education possible to our students. I also want to represent the district residents and taxpayers by making prudent fiscal choices. We moved into the Elmbrook School District so that our children could attend Elmbrook Schools. Like most residents, I valued education and wanted to ensure our children received the best education possible with appropriate fiscal oversite.
I would suggest more books and less screen time in the elementary schools and limiting cell phone usage in the middle/high schools. Studies show that cell phone usage for teenagers has a negative effect on their emotions and learning. Supporting our students is my top priority as a school board member.
I want to represent the residence and taxpayers of the district in making prudent fiscal choices. Spending funds on day to day operations has been very good in Elmbrook and I want that to continue. Capital expenditures will be on the ballot very soon and I want to be there to represent the taxpayers.
School policies should be determined by representatives of the taxpayers, which is why I'm running to fill the position in area 1 of the Elmbrook Schools district. Making strong choices for taxpayers while maintaining our top notch schools in my priority.
Our principal's do a great job and have a solid plan. I have reviewed it and agree with it so we just need to execute those plans should the need arise.
