I have successfully served as the Town of Campbell's Health, Education and Welfare Supervisor for 3 terms. I have created a good rapport with Town residents, County, State and Federal government officials. I work closely with other collaborative partners (DNR, DHS, and professors and students from UWL, UW-Madison, and Viterbo). I have 40+ years' experience as a government employee. Residents readily share their thoughts and concerns with me as we work together to improve our community.
1. Achieve incorporation as a Village, to seal our borders from annexation.
2. Complete our (PFAS free) safe municipal water system.
3. Maintain fiscal viability while maintaining services.
1. I wrote a large part of our Incorporation narrative including: Town history, partnership with French Island civic organizations, and highlighted our outstanding service capabilities. I've actively participated in all Incorporation meetings. Incorporation is now being reviewed by the State Incorporation Review Board (IRB) with an expected decision in March 2026.
2. I wrote 2 Congressional Direct Spending grants for nearly $5 million dollars (approved) to help fund our water system. I will continue to work with other governmental agencies to fully fund our water system so the burden does not fall to the Campbell taxpayer. I work with a consortium of professionals to gauge PFAS in our region and assist the County/other communities which may be impacted in the future.
3. I work closely with other board members and the Town Treasurer, review the budget monthly, and participate in ongoing discussions to guide our spending while maintaining the services residents' desire.
