#4 Outagamie County is strongest when everyone feels
respected, supported, and included. I will work to ensure that county government is accessible, welcoming, and attentive to how
decisions made by the County Board affect people with different experiences and needs. Community engagement will be a priority, and I encourage everyone to vote to help shape a more inclusive
future for Outagamie County.
I am running for County Board because I care deeply about this community and want to be part of thoughtful, steady local leadership. Through my decade of work in domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy and prevention, owning a local dance studio, and working closely with families and youth, I have seen how county decisions directly affect people’s daily lives, often in ways that are not always visible.
I am not a career politician, but a resident who wants to listen, learn, and represent my district with integrity and respect. I believe local government works best when it is accessible, transparent, and focused on practical solutions.
My goal is to help ensure county government is responsive, fiscally responsible, and attentive to how policies impact real people. I am running because I believe in community engagement, collaborative decision-making, and a County that works well for everyone who lives here.
I support the need for a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion position in Outagamie County. This role can help identify service gaps, strengthen outreach and communication, and build trust within the community. By ensuring county services are accessible and responsive to residents with different needs and experiences, the County can function more effectively and fairly for everyone.

The issues of greatest concern are:
A. Increasing costs due to state directives (unfunded mandates)
B. Balancing the needs of the county against the tax levy
C. Planning for the future of the county against the reality of changing demographics
A. The county must identify and quantify the costs of unfunded state and federal mandates and ensure that proper compensation is given to support these or we lobby to have these mandates eliminated
B. Aggressive review of current and future needs of the county needs to be understood in the context of the ultimate cost to the county through fees and the tax levy
C. Our county, like many other counties in the state and country, is rapidly getting older. Planning must be done to ensure that services and programs are adjusted to reflect this reality
I have spent my first term learning and understanding the needs of the county and ensuring that my votes reflect this understanding. There are ever expanding pressures to increase the breadth and scope of county services. We need to ensure that these requests are thoroughly reviewed and evaluated against the taxpayers ability to support them through the tax levy
Our society is a melting pot of different nationalities, races, traditions and societal norms. Respect, dignity and tolerance are hallmarks of a fair and tolerant society. There are many local, federal and state laws that protect individuals from
discrimination and abuse. These laws must be enforced by the county on an equal basis
