I'm running for Alderman out of a deep appreciation for Brookfield, the character of our wonderful neighborhoods, low-density suburban feel, excellent schools, and strong city services. As Alderman, I've partnered to resolve long-standing power outage issues and stay actively involved coaching youth & serving as a Boys Club Leader. Professionally, I bring years of executive, technology and project leadership, which I've applied as Finance Committee Chair to help close a $4M budget deficit.
Two major issues we're facing are protecting Brookfield’s community character and maintaining long‑term fiscal stability. Residents value our low‑density neighborhoods, and I oppose development approaches that would significantly alter that fabric. Equally important is our budget challenge: state‑limited revenue growth versus rising costs. As Finance Chair, I’ve worked closely with city leadership to balance the 2026 budget and will continue advocating for responsible, sustainable solutions.
Equal access starts with safe neighborhoods, responsive city services, and policies grounded in residents’ needs. I support a thoughtful mix of housing options that fits Brookfield’s character while allowing seniors, young families, and workforce residents to remain in the community. I will continue prioritizing public safety, strong schools, parks, and infrastructure, and using fiscally responsible budgeting to sustain services that support health, jobs, and quality of life for all residents.
The City should address climate change in practical, responsible ways that deliver local benefits. I support initiatives that improve efficiency, resilience, and long‑term cost savings—such as modern infrastructure, reliable utilities, and thoughtful planning—while being mindful of taxpayer impact. By focusing on pragmatic, data‑driven solutions rather than mandates, Brookfield can reduce risk, protect services, and remain a great place to live for future generations.
Keeping Brookfield safe means helping families feel secure and informed. I strongly support our police, fire, and emergency responders and ensuring they have the staffing, training, and resources they need. I also support proactive prevention, good lighting and infrastructure, and collaboration with neighboring communities. In addition, I believe making city crime and safety information more visible and accessible helps residents stay informed, engaged, and confident in their neighborhoods.

I am running in this election because I believe an alderman should be a liaison, relaying concerns and questions from constituents to the city while also bringing transparent and pertinent information from the city back to the constituents. Doing so requires a level of communication, multi-tasking ability, and attentiveness to detail that my professional role as a research clinical coordinator demands daily.
While being mindful of the city's budget deficit, I feel continued measures to keep the railroad crossings safe while also establishing Brookfield as a No Whistle & Reduced Noise Zone is a high priority as so many in this district live near railroad tracks. Similarly, establishing safe walkways along and across streets like Pilgrim Road remains a concern for residents. Both of these goals will require diligent and persistent work with Waukesha County and the Federal Railroad Administration.
Brookfield is poised to be a city where residents live, work, AND play. However, making this happen involves providing a greater variety of housing options to include multi-family dwellings and intergenerational housing. Improving the walkability to allow residents easy access to local business, green space, and gathering spaces (like the library and senior center)are vital. I believe this to be a zoning/permit issue that could be rectified with adjustments to current city policies.
I feel we should all be taking steps to protect and preserve the earth. Maintaining and expanding recreational paths and improving general walkability to allow residents to explore the city without the need for a vehicle is a great place to start. I also feel limitations on lawn irrigation as well as the spread of chemicals should be considered. Lastly, local industry with associated emissions should be held to a high standard to minimize the effect on the surrounding residents.
We are fortunate to live in a city where crime does not run rampant. With that being said, encouraging healthy relationships between citizens and law enforcement is vital to preserving that. I feel the continued presence of School Resource Officers will help foster these relationships with our youngest citizens. Lastly, I feel neighbors looking out for neighbors is the easiest way to protect our neighborhoods from unwanted activities.
