My goals are to strengthen trust in City Hall, put Brookfield on a sustainable financial path, and continue improving the quality of life. As Alderman, I’ve delivered results by expanding Fire and EMS staffing with federal funding, improving parks & accessibility, strengthening transparency by creating the city’s ethics code, and supporting smart economic development. As mayor, I’ll build on that work through responsible budgeting, data-driven decisions, and open communication.
Brookfield should work for everyone. As an Alderman, I’ve fought for affordable housing so people with disabilities, hardworking families, seniors, and single parents can live here. I championed the city’s first inclusive playground at Wirth Park and created Waukesha County’s first publicly accessible universal changing station at the Library. As Mayor, I’ll keep improving policies and infrastructure so residents of all ages, abilities, and incomes can fully access our community.
Public safety starts with strong staffing, training, and trusted partnerships. I supported expanding Fire and EMS staffing for the first time in 25+ years through the SAFER grant to reduce response times and improve service. I also supported embedding a social worker with our Police Department to respond to mental health calls. As Mayor, I’ll strengthen regional partnerships, support task forces, and continue transparent communication with residents.
Yes, in practical and responsible ways. As an Alderman, I modified the city budget to convert older lights to energy-efficient LEDs, lowering costs and environmental impact. I also reduced parking minimums so new developments can include more green space and fewer heat islands. Moving forward, Brookfield should prioritize the protection of its natural resources, like its vast marshes, parkland, and mature forests, through proper upkeep and appropriate zoning.
Strong relationships are built on communication and trust. I would work collaboratively with county, state, school, and regional partners by engaging early, sharing information openly, and focusing on solutions instead of politics. As an Alderman, I’ve partnered with our state representatives to advocate for better shared revenue, digital privacy protections, building code updates, & accessibility improvements. Brookfield is strongest when we work together across boundaries to solve challenges.
