We need to fully fund our educational system to improve quality of education for residents. We need to improve internet access to rural residents to provide for opportunities in education, employment, and healthcare. We must bring jobs to Pennsylvania so that our young people can stay and increase access to affordable housing. We also must protect the right for women in Pennsylvania to have access to reproductive healthcare. We need to develop ways to support our veterans, increase access to mental healthcare, and create initiatives that help to protect our children from the dangers of technology.
Pennsylvania has secure elections. We should do whatever we can to ensure that people have easy access to voting including drop boxes, mail-in ballots, and the appropriate number of polling places especially in urban areas. The necessary supports, including funding, must be given to local election officials.
I would support to fully fund Fair Funding so that our educational system receives the appropriate amount of resources per student that all districts require. Quality education is the foundation upon which all else is built in our commonwealth. I would also support fully funding the special education system so that all children have access to the supports they need to be successful in school.
I would vote to protect women's unrestricted access to reproductive healthcare here in Pennsylvania.
