Description of office: The General Assembly is the legislative branch of government in Pennsylvania. It is composed of two houses: the Senate is the upper house, and the House of Representatives is the lower house. A majority vote in both houses is necessary to pass a law. The PA House of Representatives consists of 203 members representing one district each, with an equal number of constituents. Representatives must be at least 21 years old, have been a citizen and a resident of the state four years and a resident of their respective districts one year before their election, and shall reside in their respective districts during their terms of service. The House develops budget packages, makes taxation decisions, allocates spending, and passes laws (including redistricting in collaboration with the Senate). The House also has the exclusive authority to impeach public officials. Representatives also serve on various policy committees that may propose legislation. I’m concerned about issues such as high inflation the opioid crisis homelessness and the immigration problem. I will work tirelessly with both parties to fight these issues we have to have a bipartisan plan to fix it but, we have to stop the “I’ll help if you give me this” agenda. We have to protect Pennsylvanians at all cost.
Voting laws should be, 18 years old, photo ID and you must be an American citizen to vote.
If you want to be apart of the voting system then become a citizen and be heard.
The department of Education is unconstitutional and needs to be removed. The government should not have any say on what our children are being taught. It should be up to the parents and teachers.
I can say I’m pro life and loose supporters and on the other hand I could say I’m pro abortion and leave the law as is, but I would loose supporters. I’m not answering this question because what needs to be done is each person needs to look in to their own heart and go from there.
