Teller County Treasurer / Tesorero del Condado
The County Treasurer is an elected office and is responsible to collect property taxes, invest funds, disburse money to cities and districts and act as county banker. All treasurer’s office activities are specifically mandated by the Colorado Constitution and state statutes. Term of office is four years.The county treasurer does not have the power to raise or lower taxes, limit government or protect property rights.
